All orders are shipped with USPS. Rates are determined based on weight. We offer free shipping over $100 on all domestic orders, and free shipping over $50 on all orders in Massachusetts.

Returns & Exchanges
As of March 2020, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the associated difficulties, all our sales are final. We are not accepting returns or exchanges. We understand this might be upsetting, but as a very small business, we are doing our best. Please shop mindfully. Thank you for understanding!
Special order items may not be returned. If we ordered something especially for you, it's a final sale.
In cases of defective yarn, we will replace the yarn for you. Please contact us within 15 days of receiving your yarn.
If we make a mistake with your order, please contact us within 5 days of receiving your order and we will cover all shipping costs to rectify the error. We try our best, but we are humans so we may mistakes but we’ll fix it! Please keep the wrong item in its original, unused condition so that we can exchange it for you.
All exceptions to this policy be determined at the sole discretion of Circle of Stitches. (NOTE: threatening our staff will NOT get you an exception. This shouldn’t need to be said, yet here we are). Shipping on returns and exchanges is at the customer's expense and will not be refunded.
We do not accept returns on any consumables, spinning wheels, spindles, needles, notions, or printed media or publications, including books, tarot decks, printed patterns, and digital patterns. Exceptions can be made for damaged or faulty merchandise.
Class Cancellation Policy
When you sign up for a class or event with Circle of Stitches, you are agreeing to these terms. Thank you for being mindful!
Due to the very limited enrollment in our classes and the special nature of our workshops and events, registrations are non-refundable. Every workshop or event has a minimum required number of enrollments. In the event that your workshop/event does not meet this minimum, you will be notified of the cancellation and receive a full refund, or the option to transfer to any other workshop/event of your choosing.
More than 48 hours prior to any workshop or event, you may request a transfer to any other event or workshop of your choosing, or a store credit in the amount of your registration fee. Cancellations within 48 hours of class time, as well as no-shows with no prior warning, will forfeit the class registration fee, as we pay instructors per student and aren't able to fill empty spots with same day notice. If you would like to send someone else in your place, that’s absolutely fine! Please notify us via email if you intend to send someone else in your place.
Our policies are in place because we value our teachers and we pay them according to the number of enrolled students. 48 hours before a class, we give them a final headcount and commit to paying them for that number of students. Even if you don't show up, we still pay the teacher.
Why do we deny requests to accommodate cancellations within 48 hours or no-show students in the next run of a class? Because in order to do so, we would need to pay the teacher for the class you skipped, and for your spot in the next session. This means we have to compensate the teacher twice, when your fee only covered a spot in one class. We are transparent about this process because we want you to understand where our policies come from.

If a class is cancelled by Circle of Stitches, you will receive a full refund. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule classes due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to insufficient enrollment, inclement weather, or other emergencies.
