This cardigan brings together my favorite elements of a “boyfriend cardigan” without all the extra fabric and bagginess. It features a wide neckline and super deep V-neck, for that oversized feel - plus plenty of room to show off your favorite T-shirts, or layer on a gorgeous shawl. The sleeves are relaxed with rolled cuffs for extra coziness, while the modified drop shoulder design removes extra fabric from the underarms. A cozy little cardigan to throw on over any outfit!

In an effort to both reflect the efforts that go into designing knitwear and increasing accessibility to patterns for all audiences, I am offering a full price tier and a discounted tier for those who need more accessible pricing.

Recommended ease is 6”-10” (15-20 cm) of positive ease. For reference, model is 5'1" with a 34.5" bust, wearing a 40" cardigan.

Yarn: 

• 6 (7, 8, 9, 9) (10, 11, 12, 12) skeins of Spincycle Plump or 600 (675, 743, 810, 878) (946, 1013, 1081, 1148) yards / 549 (618, 679, 741, 803) (865, 926, 988, 1050) meters of similar bulky weight yarn
• Alternative: Noth Bay Fibers Elemental Bulky 

Gauge: 

12 stitches x 16.75 rows in stockinette in the round after gentle blocking.

Needles:

32" or 40" US10.5 (6.50 mm) circular needles, or size needed to obtain gauge
