Wintersmith Socks Knitting Pattern - Digital Download
The name for these socks, Wintersmith, came from one of my favorite Terry Pratchett books. In his book by the same name, the young witch Tiffany Aching accidentally causes the essence of winter, personified as the Wintersmith, to fall in love with her.
These are basic, cozy socks, knit from the toe up with a short row wrap-and-turn heel. The soles are purled for increased comfort. With the stockinette stitch inside the sock, the wearer won’t be able to feel the stitches pressing into the bottoms of their feet.
Five sizes available, for extra comfortable fit:
X-Small (Small, Medium, Large, X-Large): 7” (7.5”, 8”, 8.5”, 9”) / 17.8 cm (19 cm, 20.3 cm, 21.6 cm, 22.9 cm) wide foot.
